The ATS panel is an equipment designed to supervise the power grid, command and control the transfer of the load from the network to the generator set.
The start of the generator set takes place after an adjustable timing, necessary to confirm the grid failure. The stop of the generator set is also made after a delay, scheduled to confirm the return of the network to normal. After transferring the load from the generator set to the grid, the cooling time will start counting down, and then the stop command is received.
The construction is self-supporting or wall-mounted. Typically, the ATS panel is installed as close as possible to the general distribution table.
